On-the-Job Training On-the-Job Training is a service offered by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation that allows the individual to learn an occupational skill by actually performing as an employee.
Preparing Adults for Competitive Employment Preparing Adults for Competitive Employment is a community based job-training program offered by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. The program is an integral component of job placement services that offers short term job training and work adjustment. The participant will receive a training wage while working at the program site, which is paid by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Telecommuting Telecommuting or Home-Based Employment means to work from a remote location, usually a home office, by electronically linking to a company by phone, fax, or modem.
Work Opportunity Tax Credit The Work Opportunity Tax Credit is a federal program designed to assist members of certain targeted groups (i.e. Qualified Vocational Rehabilitation Referral) in obtaining employment by giving employers an incentive to hire them.
